Absorption
spread thin with exhaustion
visions of others in desperation
reflection of my benefits of relaxation
nourishment, love, acceptance, persuasion
no threat of invasion
no covering of ears
no eating of grass
no denial of my tears
no child of mine washed up on a shore
our world won’t take this anymore.
